Course Details
One day school holiday sewing workshop for kids or teens. Learn to use a sewing machine as you sew a cool summer top to wear, Kids will learn to thread, adjust settings which feet to use, cut out fabric, , learning how to work with pre shired fabric, sew a yolk, with keyhole back, and sew hems
suitable for youths 9 to 16 even if they have never sewn before.

Full refund if cancelled two weeks before the start of the workshop.
If cancelled in the two weeks leading up to the workshop I will try and offer a catch-up if I can replace you in the workshop, so the more notice you give me the better.

Does your machine need some TLC?
Drop your sewing machine or Overlocker in for a service we usually have a one week turn, and have them sewing at their best for you.

Keep kids busy in the holidays having fun and learning a new skill or improving techniques. Two day sewing workshop, we will be sewing a cool Top featuring gathering in the bodic with facings and keyhole back. soft sleave and so much fun to sew and then wear. Perfect for kids 8 to 16 even if they have never sewn before.

Cost: $215 includes fabric and notions
What’s included: Use of Sewing Machine, sewing tools, pattern, all fabric, and notions like thread and , 5 hours workshop, with an experienced and knowledgeable teacher.
What do I need to bring: Just bring lunch and snacks, to keep the energy up as we will have a very busy day, please wear closed in shoes as we work with scissors and pins. You are welcome to bring your own machine as long as its in working order, we can service it before the workshop if needed, you will need to bring its accessories. If we have any issues and it can’t sew our project then I will switch it over to one of mine. Good Idea to bring a jacket for the air conditioning.
What will I learn: We will start off with sewing straight, threading a sewing machine, then cutting out our pattern on the fabric, using scissors on fabric, then constructing of summer shirt, featuring shired midrif, soft sleave and keyholeback .
