Course Details
Two day school holiday sewing workshop for kids or teens. Learn to use a sewing machine as you sew a cuddly soft toy Olly Owl, to love. Kids will learn to thread, adjust settings which feet to use, then sew soft toy together , learning how to manage small curves, Applique Decrotive stitches, fill with stuffing and hand sew to finish off.

Full refund if cancelled two weeks before the start of the workshop.
If cancelled in the two weeks leading up to the workshop I will try and offer a catch-up if I can replace you in the workshop, so the more notice you give me the better.

Please bring the kids with closed in shoes.

Does your machine need some TLC?
Drop your sewing machine or Overlocker in for a service we usually have a one week turn, and have them sewing at their best for you.

What’s included: Use of Sewing Machine, sewing tools, pattern, all fabric, and notions like thread and Fibber Fill, workshop with an experienced and knowledgeable teacher.
What do I need to bring: Just bring lunch and snacks, to keep the energy up as we will have a very busy day, please wear closed in shoes as we work with scissors and pins. You are welcome to bring your own machine as long as its in working order, we can service it before the workshop if needed, you will need to bring its accessories. If we have any issues and it can’t sew our project then I will switch it over to one of mine. Good Idea to bring a jacket as The room is airconditioned.
What will I learn: We will start off with sewing straight, and small curves. We will have fun using Decrotive stitches, applique and quilting. Threading a sewing machine,using different feet and settings, then constructing soft toy, adding stuffing, hand sewing for finish, pressing, stay stitching. As you sew a cute Olly Owl to take home and love.

What if I need to cancel: Full refund if cancelled two weeks before the start of the workshop if cancelled after that time, I will try and offer you another session as long as I am able to replace you, so the more time you give me the more likely I am able to reschedule for you.
