What if I need to cancel: Full refund if cancelled two weeks before the start of the workshop. If cancelled in the two weeks leading up to the workshop I will try and offer a catch-up if I can replace you in the workshop, so the more notice you give me the better.

Do you have favourite wardrobe pieces that you just love to wear,? Wouldn't it be fantastic if you could make more.  This workshop will teach you how to recreate these garments so that you can make them again and again. How awesome is that? We will create a  pattern from a garment that you bring to class, you will then sew your new creation together. Some knowledge of garment construction and using a sewing machine would be helpful.

Learn To Clone your favourite wardrobe items

Do you have favourite wardrobe pieces that you just love to wear,? Wouldn’t it be fantastic if you could make more.  This workshop will teach you how to recreate these garments so that you can make them again and again. How awesome is that? We will create a  pattern from a garment that you bring to class, you will then sew your new creation together. Some knowledge of garment construction and using a sewing machine would be helpful.

What do I bring: Two or three garments that you would like to Clone, fabric and matching thread to sew your new project with. Needs to be a similar fabric to the original garment.  Your sewing machine, you are also welcome to use one of mine, and your sewing kit. You will need poly trace to make your pattern for $6 a pack, available on the day. You will also need to bring a munch on the go, lunch and snacks.

What is included: Two x 6-hour Sewing Lessons with an experienced and knowledgeable teacher, use of Studio, machines and overlocker. ,  Tea and Coffee

What will I learn: You will learn,  How to trace of your garment, add seam allowances, reproduce darts and facings, and even up patterns where necessary. Cut out your fabric,  to create your new garment. Then learn the best way to sew it together learning any important techniques along the way,  eg; gatherings, underpinnings, bindings useful techniques, like sewing a  facing, underpinning, setting in a sleeve and sewing a zip or waistband.
