Keep kids busy in the holidays having fun and learning a new skill. One day sewing workshop, we will be sewing a cute soft toy Llama, Using A Funky Friends Factory Pattern. Perfect for kids 8 to 16 even if they have never sewn before.

Date: Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd of July 2024

Time: 10.00 to 3.00

Location: Unit 4, 42 Dominions Rd, Ashmore

What’s included: Use of Sewing Machine,  sewing tools, pattern, all fabric, and notions like thread and wadding, 6 hours workshop, with an experienced and knowledgeable teacher.

What do I need to bring: Just bring lunch and snacks, to keep the energy up  as we will have a very busy day, please wear closed in shoes as we work with scissors and pins. You are welcome to bring your own machine as long as its in working order, we can service it before the workshop if needed, you will need to bring its accessories. If we have any issues and it can’t sew our project then I will switch it over to one of mine. Good Idea to bring a jacket as The room is airconditioned.

What will I learn: We will start off with sewing straight, and small curves. Threading a sewing machine, then cutting out our pattern on the fabric, using scissors on fabric, then constructing soft toy, adding stuffing, hand sewing for finish, pressing, stay stitching. As you sew a cute Llama to take home and love.

Cancellation Policy

What if I need to cancel: Full refund if cancelled two weeks before the start of the workshop if cancelled after that time, I will try and offer you another session as long as I am able to replace you, so the more time you give me the more likely I am able to reschedule for you.
